In this workshop, Edna will reveal how easy it is to start with as little as a 10-minute workout program. She will show you two easy-to-do interval training sessions.

    Session #1 ... focusing on your upper body muscles.
    Session #2 ... strengthening exercises for lower body muscles.

Participants will have the opportunity to try these exercises for themselves, and see how easy it is to get fit for life!

#2 Sofa Stretches – Easy Exercises while watching TV!

Learn exercises you can do without getting up off the sofa!

Using resistance bands, Edna will give you a strategy for incorporating 30 minutes of interval training while watching TV for two hours.

Audience members will be able to try these exercises for themselves and see how easy it is to get fit from the comfort of your sofa.

#3 Muscles Matter – Why Strength Training is good for you

This workshop will give you the inside track on how Edna first started working out for the first time at the age of 50. She will pass on to you the many benefits of strength training for older adults - things like keeping weight off, lessening risk of diabetes, reducing risk of osteoporosis, and much more!

Using resistance bands she will show you how you can build muscle mass and endurance in eight short weeks.
